Thank you Believe In Tomorrow Foundation, its supporters, and to the wonderful donors of the WISP Mountain retreat. After the last six months in isolation due to our daughters immune-suppressant regime, this escape was just was “the doctor ordered”. To be surrounded by such amazing natural beauty and to be all together relaxing and having fun, was such a true blessing for us. We were able to visit such beautiful places such as Swallow Falls during the sunny days we had and during the rainy days we were able to enjoy movies and games in the cabin. The Believe In Tomorrow Foundation has been a true blessing in our lives from our stays at the Children’s House at Hopkins during our daughter’s two liver transplant surgeries in December (the first one failed unfortunately) and now this wonderful escape at WISP Mountain. We are truly thankful for all that you do for families such as ours. God bless you all.
With love,
The Jaber Family

Dear friends involved with the Believe In Tomorrow Children’s Foundation,
As we drove to your Wisp Home, I reflected on what was bringing us here. I thought about our son Mac and what he has endured since his brain tumor diagnosis in 2008. Mac has faced multiple surgeries, chemotherapy, nausea, vomiting, hair loss, and vision problems with grace and maturity beyond his years. As a parent it has been incredibly difficult watching our child go through everything his diagnosis brought. The past few weeks leading up to our trip to Wisp we saw Mac’s excitement increase. He looked so forward to coming here. He was packed a week before everyone else. He was looking forward to having fun!
Finally the day arrived to come to Wisp. It was a beautiful Sunday. Our excitement increased as we drove up the mountain. Finally we were here. When Mac walked through the door, he couldn’t stop smiling. This week that smile rarely left his face. It has been a magical week.
We enjoyed the lovely house, the scenery, the fresh air, the facilities at Wisp Resort, the relaxation! Thank you so much for making this possible for our family and all of the other families dealing with the heartache involved with having a medically fragile child. This week has provided many happy memories for our family.
Thank you so much,
Mac Kretz’s family — Bob & Cheryl, Robb, Maria & Valarie, Alex & Magda, and Mac

Thank you, Believe In Tomorrow, for providing our family a great vacation!
Our son Josiah (who has rhabdomyosarcoma - a very rare soft tissue cancer) was thrilled when he found out that the house was available the week we were scheduled to take a vacation. Unfortunately, we had to cut the trip short, as he needs to be at the hospital on Thursday at 11am for a biopsy.
We had a great time though — we liked the indoor pool at wisp — as well as the chair lift ride and mountain coaster. The people there were GREAT! We also had fun playing miniature golf at Smiley’s. Our big splurge was the horseback riding at Western Stables. Josiah had never been on a horse before — I’m sure that made a memory he will never forget! We also liked hiking at Swallow Falls State Park.
Sadly, it rained most of today, so we weren’t able to go to Deep Creek State Park as we planned but we saw Ice Age 3 at the Garrett Cinema instead and enjoyed relaxing at this beautiful house.
Thank you again for the incredible service you provide to families dealing with life-threatening illnesses. We definitely won’t forget our awesome time away!
Jen & Ben, Bethany, Emma, & Josiah

Thank you for giving me and my family the opportunity to come and enjoy this beautiful place. I’m happy to have organizations like you around to make children like my daughter enjoy themselves while they’re in treatment. I know my daughter will always have this experience in a memory and I thank you for that.
Sincerely,
Mayra Martinez & Family

Thank you Believe In Tomorrow
This has been an awesome gift. To be able to relax and enjoy the family again has been great. The last year and a half has been so hectic. It’s been great to enjoy the lake and all it’s beauty.
Thanks again,
Bryan, Dawn, Rebecca, and BJ Showalter

Wow! What a beautiful house and what a beautiful location! It was so nice to have this time away from everything to just be together as a family enjoying ourselves and relaxing. It snowed so much! We had a very white Christmas, stayed in by the fireplace, played games and read and watched movies all day. Other days we took full advantage of the generous offer by the Wisp Resort to use their facilities — we skied and went snow tubing as often as we could. We had a blast! This is the first time our two boys had been on skis. We also visited other local businesses that support the Believe In Tomorrow families — we had pizza and played games at Smiley’s, played games at Funland, and took in a movie at the Garret Theater.
It was such a fun time and we have so many new wonderful memories. Thank you so very much for letting our family stay in this amazing house!

Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in this amazing house. We had a wonderful New Year’s Eve and it has been a great way for our family to start 2010. We have had so much fun relaxing and warming by the fireplace. We have enjoyed all of the snow–we have so far gotten 10-12 inches of snow. We loved the ski resort and my daughter who is recovering from cancer took ski lessons and did a great job! What a great memory.
Thank you again for creating such a beautiful house and allowing us to enjoy it.

Dear Believe In Tomorrow Staff and Volunteers,
Our family had a wonderful time at this beautiful retreat! The slopes were incredible and the mountain coaster was awesome! The kids really enjoyed ice-skating as well.
You all work so hard to make a difference for so many families and we all want you to know how much we appreciate your generosity. The gifts, accommodations, and whole atmosphere of your mt. home made for an unforgettable winter get-away.
Thank you again and may your new year be filled with good health and much happiness. May you get to treasure many unforgettable moments with your loved ones.

Dear Believe In Tomorrow Staff & Volunteers,
Thank you so much for our respite vacation. Since my son’s diagnosis, our family has been under tremendous stress. The healing time we have had here has helped us so much. The staff at Wisp were so kind and we had a great time. Smiley’s restaurant was terrific as were the soaks in the hot tub at the resort but the best part was the time for my family to love and heal together. After being away from home for over a year, my family is in the mending process and your kindness and generosity have helped us so much. Thank you a million times over.
Mark, Theresa, Isaiah, Gabriella, Christopher, and Hannah Smith
